Did you buy a 30/30 Marlin in Cookeville around 2000-2001 from a college kid?

I'm in same boat....if someone bought a Marlin 30/30 with a gold medallion in the stock at Coach Elmer Brown's small hunting and fishing store near E.O Coffman middle school in Lawrenceburg in the 80's ...I would buy it back. My dad is still upset that I traded my Christmas present for a used 742 Woodmaster 30.06 after one year.

Good Luck!

I got hammered at Spankie's a few months ago. Hope this helps!
Chicken on a stick for the win! My last 2 years at Tech , 93-95, I lived on the corner of 12th and Dixie near the Presidents House and football field. We'd walk there and also the Clubhouse which isn't there anymore. Too many to drink didn't matter cause we could walk home. Haven't been hammered in a long time and don't plan on it but man we had some fun times back then.

Clubhouse is still there - now it's Vinnie T's Clubhouse. Still exactly the same.

You worked for Dean I guess. I was in the commercial they filmed for the Clubhouse. I also dated two of the bartenders during your time there, but we don't need to get into that. Back to your rifle…..

Was in Cookeville for a wedding a few months ago and had heard stories but got properly introduced. Whole wedding ended up at Spankie's. Had a helluva time haha!

I spent more time at Buds , John's, and the Armory than I did in class . Guess that's why I'm just a drop out tree trimmer. Hope you find your rifle buddy.
You left off the Reef which was by the interstate where Cracker Barrel is now. They had quarter beer and ten cent wings on Wednesday nights (think it was Wednesday).

Buds is closed and now has new owners. Not sure what they'll do with it.
That's a shame. We used to get our kegs there plus they had a drive through window and could get beer through it.
