Driver’s License Expired

My bday is in November and apparently my DL expired and I didn't realize it. I went to buy my wife decongestant at Kroger and they wouldn't sell it to me when I got carded and had to use my carry permit.

Obviously I can't go to DMV until Monday. I use the TWRA app on my phone for license. If a GW checked me or I go to telecheck my deer online, will this cause me a problem?

That kills me, I'm almost 60, do I get younger when my license expires, do I stop being me? I get driving, must be current, but as proof of age or identity it shouldn't matter.
 
I was just wondering because when I pull up my license on the app it has my DL number on their and it would be my luck he'd want to see it to confirm my identity and I'd wind up in a cell with Big Bubba. LOL!
 
I had to wait until today for DMV to reopen. Apparently in Lebanon they are renovating so I had to go to a mobile station. One room 5'X8' and 3 women. Sign in lady was older than my great grand mother, one woman doing drivers tests and one woman doing everything else. I got to the mobile station at 8:36AM and left at 11:52. What a day!

You walk in and tell woman #1 what you're there for and she asks what kind of car you drive. Then you go sit in your car until they wave you in. At least 40 of us sitting out there. I did make a new friend in the parking lot. LOL!

A good reminder of government inefficiency. Whatever they run, they ruin. We all should do well to remember this when they ask to take things over.

To boot I picked up a screw in a tire. These tires were getting toward the end of life so may not be plugging it. May wind up getting new tires and Jeep tires aren't cheap. I hate contingency expenses in Nov-Dec for what I do.

That happened to my wife's great niece. She had just turned 21 and went to liquor store to buy a bottle of wine to celebrate. DL had expired and they wouldn't sell it to her.

My youngest son had lost his license and had a paper renewal. On his 21st birthday we went out to eat and he ordered a beer. When he was carded they wouldn't accept his paper DL. Said they needed a photo ID. He showed his college ID. Wouldn't accept it. Then he showed his lifetime license. After showing 2 government issued IDs and a college photo ID they still wouldn't let him have a beer. Said he needed a government issued photo ID.

Just remember if you are pulled over you technically you don't have a drivers license if it's expired

That is the actual law. Must be gov photo. ABC sends folks into bars/restaurants all the time trying to test. Don't blame em for not accepting.
 
my Drivers license had also expired. I found out Black Friday at BPS. I renewed it online right there in the store. They had no way of "manually" entering anything there. They needed a Card that they could scan. Wouldn't even except my Military ID. That Brain Fart cost me $400 bucks and umpteen Club points. Yeah I did the thing and bought a Live scope Combo. Merry Christmas to Us.... Went into the DMV monday to check on things...Said They would mail me a hard copy.....in 20 days....For me to keep my conformations # just in case....
