EXTREMELY Frustrated

I'm going to take the opposite approach to everyone else...

Drive all over your place all the time... get the deer used to the vehicle intrusion year round, so they don't go on alert during hunting season. My deer show zero fear to the sxs or vehicles. But they are on the property year round farming, checking cows, hunting, running fences, etc.
This, its the sneaking they see/hear that bothers them, just regular work they get use to.

So the question is what changed? Since you've had the property for several years and haven't had a problem, what changed this year? Are they finally on to you? If they are bedding in the neighbor's yard, you can't be spooking them that bad coming in as they are used to seeing people.

Assuming your other neighbor's poaching hasn't ratcheted up a notch or two, that should be stable as well. My thoughts are they have changed feeding habits from summer to fall and not as many deer around. It sounds like you started getting less pics about the time some acorns should start falling.

I do agree with mega though in terms of spending time on the property throughout the year riding around.
