Fall fishing on Kentucky Lake

How many of you plan on Bass or Crappie fishing this fall on KY Lake? Have you been having any success?

Only caught 2 fish all day out of jville yesterday.

Twitch an original Rapala on top and hold on. Exposed crappie mats , stumps, large rocks on gravel banks or bars are good. Bass will herd shad on gravel and cut them up.

The water temp is just about perfect right now. Probably only going to last a couple of weeks.

Are you all seeing more Asian Carp this year? I have been seeing a lot of them on the northern and central portions of KY Lake this year.

There have been some big Smallmouth caught this week on KY Lake.

There has been a lot of progress on the new bridge that is being built over Kentucky Lake. The arch in the middle of the new bridge has now been put into place. A new bridge is being built over Barkley Lake also along Kentucky highway 68/80.

saturday caught 18 only one keeper sunday had 25 keepers guess you could say I found them!

Sounds like you had a great day. Were they shallow or out deep?

I caught the most of them from 10 to 12 ft
