I'm 54.

There are times my gout bothers me terribly but I still hunt because I'll be hurting equally in my chair at home or in the woods.

There are no buts to love. Love is sacrifice. If you offer no sacrifice there is no love.

I have it made as far as comfort goes. The blind is roomy and I can just stretch out, however bow season sucks in it. I can't sit very long or very still in the stands anymore, where hunting would be somewhat more productive during early season. I have to pick and choose between effort vs reward. I have psoriatic arthritis and a couple of herniated disc's so I only hunt the very best days that I think would have best opportunities.
