agreed, a real raspy call can cover up some squeaks as well as make cutting a bit easier. much harder to kee kee on them but thats not a must call for spring time.

Pretty much whichever call I can get on sale for a couple bucks. Mouth calls are getting rediculous.... heck, there was an entire display with $12 mouth calls at Gander Mountain when I was there the other day.
But I really do like the MAD poison mouth calls... last few I bought for $6/ 3... they quit making them last year, and reintroduced them for $6 each this year. Still haven't decided whether I want to for out that much for this season.
