Favorite squirrel hunting 22

Looking for advice on a 22lr for squirrel hunting.

If I had to do it all over again... knowing what I know now....a CZ 457 American.
Any will work, but the CZ is how I would go.

That's what I've been leaning towards. I have a Ruger 10/22 that I enjoy plinking with. Thanks for the feedback.

I've got several 22's but my old Marlin 25 is my favorite. Its the first gun I ever bought.

For next year, I'm leaning towards getting a Tikka T1x Hunter with a 16" barrel and suppressing it.

Bergara makes a nice one as well. Think it's called a BMR. It's the bolt action one. I wasn't impressed with their 10/22 clone (thinking BHR).
I don't think you would be disappointed with either one...the Tikka, Bergara, or CZ. I would still choose the CZ, but I prefer wood and blue.

If I already had a 10/22, I think I'd start building it out before buying a different gun. If I don't go the Tikka route, this is what I'll probably end up doing.

I think accuracy wise, they are comparable. Aesthetic wise, the Bergara is more "modern", the CZ more "traditional".

I went that route...built a 10/22...barrel, trigger, etc. Ended up selling it. Was way deeper in it money wise than just buying a 457. And although it was accurate, it was less so than any CZ I've owned.
