Favorite squirrel hunting 22

Out of the box, the CZ rifles are generally pretty nice. If you want something somewhat custom, find a cheap Ruger 10/22 and toss a green mtn or other higher-grade barrel on it. Then pick from the bunches of aftermarket stocks out there. Upgrade the trigger and go kill squirrels. I have several of each and they are all lots of fun!

I built a 10/22 for my son several years ago. It's in a Boyd's thumbhole stock, Volquarzen Aluminum Tension barrel, all Volquarzen/CPC internal parts and the only part that remains Ruger is the receiver. It's a tack driver!
 
My Dad bought one when I was born in 1957. It was stolen out of our house before I started walking :( :mad:
Had my 39A stolen. I got it back because the idiot who stole it sold it at a pawn shop and used his real ID. I had him put in jail for that. It was my first gun. Given to me at around 14 for a Christmas present. It's a safe queen these days.
