Fawns popping up here in Middle Tn

Yet to see any on camera in Clay county, but also have not seen any does in a few days. Maybe they are tending to little ones at the moment.

I had to do some tractor work today on about 5 acres for a corn plot but my daughter and I drove it slowly on a 4 wheeler before and glad we did. No turkeys but this little guy dug in and I had to nudge him to move on. Better safe than sorry. 7EEECD8A-27E2-42D8-A9B7-E664382373EA.jpeg83BF1E1D-48E3-42AE-BB2E-ACDEE3381D2E.jpeg

Mid-west GA on my place. This doe & another with 2 fawns are using my fields regularly now. They both dropped about 5/31. You'll have to click on the photo to see the fawn.

Maybe an explanation of my location. I'm a born & bred Tennessean (west). Had a farm for years on the Hatchie River east of Middleton & spent most of my fall & spring seasons there (after moving to GA in the 80s). Had the farm primarily to have opportunities to regularly see my family in TN & N MS - and for love of hunting & fishing that area. Unfortunately family in that area are all gone now & I have 6 children & 17 grand children now all in GA, so I sold the Hatchie farm, scaled back & spend most of my time in GA - but still a Tennessean forever.

Just saw a momma with twins in Rhea County this morning. Looked to be a couple weeks old.
