I've been hunting for 26 years and have missed several but had never killed a cat till tonight. 25 yards with a 7 mag I'd overkill but he didn't move.

Nice cat brother congrats. First one I shot in Lewis Co with a 7mm mag messed him up . I had him mounted but the Taxidermist had to get a size smaller mount because of all the sewing he had to do . He still looked good though . Got a female mounted as well.

wow, nice cat! We have one on our trail cameras we would like to get. My buddy had him at 18 yards Saturday but all he had was his 300 win mag rifle and a S&W 460 revolver. He wants to mount it so he passed :)

I took a mature female Sunday afternoon.... three does were standing abreast stomping to scare it away. I gave them an assist after the bobcat moved 200 yards away ;o) The does didn't run away, but stood strong and watched as if they realized they were not in danger.

Good job! KILL EM ALL! They are death on turkeys and fawns. I saw a bobcat trying to kill a fawn in my back yard a few years ago. Fortunately for the fawn the cat missed the first pass and I ran out and ran the cat off. The momma doe was standing 50 yards away making NO ATTEMPT to save her baby!
