Florida fires cjm today

I think it's a bad idea for Florida to start turning over rocks looking for any
excuse to not pay JM the buyout.....Other coaches are watching plus I would think it would also cost Sexton money to not pay it....That could have an impact on relationships going forward......If Florida has a profound legitimate reason that makes sense, that may change the situation. But from what is being reported right now it sounds pretty much a gray area...In that case, it would probably be better to just pay it and be done.....JMO...

I would say that the fire with cause is being used to reduce his buyout.

Brando? he still alive :rotf:

One choice for the Florida job that may surprise many would be RichRod.Khalil Tate has emerged & HS players in Florida could run his offense

CJM I see going to another SEC or top tier school.

Butchie really needs to relegate himself to the Atlantic or being a assistant for someone. I just don't think he is ready for a top tier school .

JM will be back out west. i say Oregon State Head Coach 2018

I'm not sure a lot of teams are going to jump on CJM after his meltdown last week.

His record alone this season didn't get him fired, his meltdown alone during the presser didn't get him fired, and the friction that he had with the AD alone didn't get him fired. You put all those things together and UF found a chance to reduce his buyout with the leverage of firing with cause. It will be interesting to see if a school jumps on him anytime soon.

There might be a few schools because they are okay with an avg. team and their coaches saying crazy things during a press conference.... :rotf:

Question is what coach would want florida after firing the division winner 2 years in row, and fired him in season? good luck with that.

You seem to be my new friend and have taken a "personal" interest....... :D

No one said he's a joke but his press conference last Monday pretty much would scare a lot of schools considering that he never notified anybody or had any follow up information on the death threats after being called to the carpet.
