Florida fires cjm today

He wasn't fired for his record. He had internal issues that blew up this week. If it wasn't for he late press conference meltdown Monday. He would still be st UF.

We all know that was an excuse and Florida wasn't happy with his performance this year. I don't think that was a secret. I guess Florida is trying to get out of buy out. I'm sure they will, but I bet he puts up a fight. It reminds me of the way Texas tech did Leach, only there was at least an accusation there,unproven but there was a reason. What is Florida, he lied about a rabid fan base and death threats. I bet someone has shouted they want him dead at some point, maybe not real mean it but as a slang or something.

"If" there were some internal issues they could not get past it's one thing .

MCElwain was a high caliber coach and finding someone of his caliber is going to be a tall order to fill .

With the Firing and dynamics at Play MCElwain makes a good fit for the Vols . He might be hard pressed to find a home at one of the Top Tier Schools and No one seems interested in taking on the vols

It's kinda hard for anyone to be "interested in taking on the Vols" since as of this morning there was no job open to take on.

If I remember correctly a few on here was saying they wouldn't mind Mullen to TN. ;) :D
 
Gonna take some big bucks to get big name coach to the dumpster fire athletic dept @ Tenn or Fla. both have looked fairly inept

Source told me Spurrier reached out twice to McElwain this fall to offer help, was told no thanks. That alone is fireable offense.
