Fort Campbell guys!!!

Movement is getting better. I hunted in ky this afternoon and had two shooters, a 10 and 11 pt., at 45 yds with no shot. Had to watch them walk off. The beans around my place are cut so I'm thinking more deer are in the woods. These two were down in the hollow heading to the beans.

I'll be in 04 in the morning. Good luck to those hunting tomorrow.

Slow weekend at the Fort. Saw 8 does on Sat. morning in 21. Got blanked in 09B Sat. evening and in 05 on Sun. Only heard a couple shots. Hoping for some better weather this coming weekend.

Did everyone get a area? Ill miss thiz weekend due to my wifes explorer blowing a radiator, still doesnt load the areas on my computer either

The hunt is on the 10th and 11th of Nov. We had the sign ups this past Tues. I hope you got on the list b/c it was full in an hour.

I drew 43B for Friday. It will be my first time hunting that area. If anybody on here has 43B as well, maybe we can exchange info via pm so we're not messing each other up. Heck, on that note, even if you're not in there, but could shed a little light on how most people hunt it, I'm all ears. My goal is to not mess up anyones or have my hunt messed-up unnecessarily. Not looking for GPS coordinates or anything. Thanks in advance guys and good luck out there.

I was thinking it only held two. I looked at my old capacity sheet and it says it holds 4 bowhunters. Just park away from any other truck. I bet you won't see but one other truck in there. That is a trend for areas.

Do they randomly pick out of all the applicants for the youth hunt, I read somewhere that there would be 40 military youth, 40 civilian youth and 20 backups. Was wandering if it is the first to apply or they are selected at the end of the sign up dead line. Thanks

Big deer are up and moving ...I had a big buck walk in and check a scrape about 50 yards from me I didn't know the scrape was there until I was looking for blood ...big buck walk in the same way I walked in and the hardwoods was wide open with no cover..I use that ridge to hang a stand that over looks a big thicket never would have crossed my mine something would walk right out into the open...oh we'll the season has just started lol

Joker, whats the rest of the story?

Well I'm back in the same area ,the same tree what does that tell u lmao..I seen the same turkey that flew up in a tree yesterday fly down this morn..I seen the same damn chipmunks chasing each other and the same 3 tree rats but no deer ..I knew chances were slim of seeing him again after tracking for blood and leeaving scent but it was worth a try...tip for u guys I hadn't talked to my wife all day and she started textig me around 5:00 about a halloween party so I just didn't pay much attention to what was behind me..I was focused on the big thicket below me more..I had my phone in my hand and turned to my right and he was standing 15 yds behind me looking dead @ me...finally he made his way to the scrape and I tried to shoot him between 2 trees..if I would have been paying attention I would have seen this deer coming 75 yds before he got to me cause the hardwoods are that wide open where my stand is...the deer just got lucky lol
