Fort Campbell guys!!!

Haha Mr. Bro. Being in 11 is much better than working.

Not much movement and only heard a couple shots so far today. Was hoping to kill a doe. It always happens. Never see one when you want to kill one. Come rut they will be everywhere.

Sometimes I really hate hunting fort Campbell. Some of the other hunters here, don't know what respect is. They will park right beside you and it seems like they will walk in trying to find you and then set up. I've had 2 hunters come in on me this morning. Both seen me and didn't care, just keep on walking.

This is exactly why I try to only hunt the fort during the week. As long as there isn't a DONSA, Monday, Thursday, and Friday are all pretty quiet for the most part.

I've found that the older hunters that've been huntin for more than 1 season. Will give other hunters respect and curtsey. Most of the time it's all the new hunters that just started huntin because it's "Cool" are the ones that don't give a rats azz about other hunters in the woods!

Call the game warden! That's what he gets paid for..

and tell him what Somebody is trespassing in YOUR area When you hunt public land especially the post you really never know the area you can get and sometimes you might walk in on someone not knowing they are there even if you park away from any vehicle. One firebreak leads to another and most stalk hunters just move around and probably move deer they don't see.. thats good for you if your locked up in a spot otherwise if a jerk knows your there and comes in just to bust your hunt then I'd be explaining to him face to face.

No, no! I'm talking about the folks who walk up on you, see you, and have total disregard for you being there. Then walk right through like you aren't there.

I'm not talking about the hunters that see you, and immediately redirect as to not disturb your hunt.

The other hunter does have the right to be there if he is assigned that area. But he/she does not have the right to have total disregard for other hunters!

No one said anything about trespassing, or an area being YOUR area! When I call in, I KNOW what area I'm going to get, and I KNOW that area like the back of my hand! I wouldn't "Face to Face" anything on Ft. Campbell unless it's friendly. Especially out in the woods with loaded weapons in play, and a bunch of Soldiers in those woods.

It's best for ALL parties involved to call the GW. Like it or not!

Anyone hunt the fort this past weekend, thinking bout heading that way for the next 3 weekends just curious how its looking over there thx rut

I'm gonna keep hunting in ky until next weekend when gun season starts. Then I'll head back to the fort. I hope hunters have pushed deer to my spot when I get back.

I have never tried hunting there. Always wanted to but some say its complicated to. Really unsure of how this works? Please fill me in if you don't care to.
