This guy was nose to the ground chasing a doe in my front yard. I go back half an hour later to see if he's still there and he's playing around with a 4 point.

I had better luck in my yard then in the woods this morning.

If people would let Deer walk like that for another year or two, think of what kind of deer Tennessee would have….
Tn is better than its ever been, we have the perfect scenario for everyone right now with the two buck! If you wanna let deer walk that are a trophy in others eyes im sure they would appreciate it!

I don't disagree with you at all! I think a one buck limit would be good and if you want meat you can shoot some does.

I hunt a one buck state and I'd be against KY going to a 2 buck state. But I think TN has it nailed down pretty good on the 2 buck limit. A lot of folks on the east side would lose out on one deer a year going to 1 buck with the limited number of does they are allowed.

We are spoiled in the south period, being able to shoot multiple bucks. I would be for one buck a year limit. But no one would follow it. The same one ones that were upset going from three to two bucks. The "if it's brown it's down" crowd. More than a few are checking it in under a relative of some sort etc, or not at all.

Thats right i still want that third tag back, there was no biological reason for loosing it other than to please the elites! Most farms around here cant handle the doe slaughter that is being allowed this year, next year will be tough. Im fortunate to have some good places that needed some does thinned but most are not . Alot of land around here you can go weeks and never see a doe but can see cruising bucks of all ages looking for those few does.
