FSU fans turn on their own players

Leave it to a gator to twist things. At this time no player cars were keyed or tires slashed. I realize I also refer to Fsu as us we,or our.Doesnt mean my tires were slashed either.I posted the official story so far no player vehicles were messed up.So your original statement was players tweeted, not player.

I seen the one were Player/players wrote on Twitter that when they got back home people had vandalized there cars and so on. It shows there twitter page and what the said in the article. And they THE PLAYERS that were talking and sharing with the web made it sound like There (the players) cars had been vandalized:/

baddnole still in full denial mode! :rotf:

The real question is when will baddnole take out his frustration on FSU linebacker Anthony Valdes who tweeted the following upon returning to Tallahassee:

Jan 2, 2015 at 4:55pm: "Just landed in tally"
Jan 2, 2015 at 6:12pm: "People actually keyed our cars and slashed our tires"
Jan 2, 2015 at 6:13pm: "(Shake my head) go 29-0 but lose one game and people don't know how to act"
Jan 2, 2015 at 6:59pm: "Shout out to all the true respectful fans love Yall"

Here's the latest udpate for baddnole to spin. :pop:

The locally owned Florida State apparel shop Garnet & Gold is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalizing the cars of several FSU football players and staff.

"This is worse than terrible," said Garnet and Gold owner Guy Moore in an email Sunday morning.

The group of staffers and players returned to the Moore Atthletic Center Friday to find that some of their vehicles had slashed tires and had been keyed. The Florida State Univeristy Police Department is investigating the matter but has not released the names of any suspects of persons of interest, said Maj. Jim Russeel, FSU PD spokesman.

Many have raised suspicision that the acts were vengeance for FSU's trouncing by No. 2 Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Thursday evening. Russell, however, said it is unclear at this time whether the loss is connected to the vandalisms.

Im still in denial but no players have reported any tire slashing yet. One player says our but only two employees have reported damage and one cheerleader with a tire slash. If it ever changes I would hope they would be punished when caught. This the same I posted earlier.

I would not say anything about Valdez. Dont believe he lied about anything. The only problem is others always trying to spin things their way. Fsu will be back for a long time, hopefully with Jameis next year.To bad yall cant blame Jameis for this.

baddnole, you and your fellow FSU fans should really contact FSU linebacker Anthony Valdes and ask him to set the record straight. He has gotten himself and FSU plastered all over the news about FSU players getting their cars keyed and tires slashed by FSU fans. Anthony Valdes has yet to deny any of the news coverage about him and this incident. All he has to do is make a one line tweet to set the record straight. Why has he not done that if it didn't really happen? He has found time to make 8 other completely unrelated tweets since then, so he's not too busy. Also, with all the negative news about the FSU football program this past year, you would think FSU would set the record straight on this if no player's cars were vandalized.

Here is Anthony Valdes' actual twitter page. I see no explanation by Anthony to help get FSU out of the news.

New update: the owner of Tallahassee pub and restaurant Madison Social has joined the owner of Garnett and Gold in offering a $1000 reward "for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalizing the cars of several FSU football players and staff."

http://www.tallahassee.com/story/ne...old-offers-reward-in-fsu-vandalisms/21257035/

I think you should call Garnett and Gold and Madison Social, ask to speak to the owners, and ask them why they continue to say that FSU player's cars were vandalized because baddnole says no players have reported any vandalism to their cars.

Vermin, some folks can't see the truth no matter what you show them. They accuse others of "spinning" things, when in fact it's them that keeps "spinning" things after each new link or piece on the event doesn't quite say what they want it to.

Spin this.

FSUPD Spokesman Maj. Jim Russell said two reports had been filed about the slashed tires, which belonged to employees, and there were reports football players' cars had been keyed, but they had not yet filed a police report.

There is an old adage in business and legal circles that says, if it isn't written down it didn't happen. That said, there has been no police report of any football players' cars being keyed. So regardless of what a player wrote on social media, a shop owner or restaurant owner emailed, I ain't buying it until there is proof it happened. Neither are the insurance companies or the legal authorities involved.

There is also an old adage that says perception is reality.

Let's see, are we more inclined to believe the tweeted words of FSU football player Anthony Valdes, the written words of the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper, and the quoted words of the owners of two popular Tallahassee businesses......or should we believe the posts of baddnole and mjac?

Again, all Anthony Valdes has to do is make a simple tweet explaining that "our cars" did not mean the player's cars. Or, the local Tallahassee newspaper could edit their story to say that the vehicles of FSU football players were not involved. Or, FSU could make a simple statement saying that the vehicles of FSU football players were not involved. Or, the owners of Garnet & Gold and Madison Social could say that their $1000 reward is not about the vehicles of FSU football players being vandalized. Until something like that happens, then the narrative remains the same - FSU football players had their cars keyed and their tires slashed, possibly by disgruntled FSU fans. FSU can thank Anthony Valdes for creating the narrative and making more national headlines for FSU.

Given that half of the college football world and national media has talked about this since Friday, don't you think FSU and/or Anthony Valdes have an obligation to FSU alumni and fans to set the record straight?

This sir, is going to set the record straight. If only you could wait for it.

I think you should go directly to the source of the negative headlines. Send Anthony Valdes a tweet and ask him what's up with the keyed cars and slashed tires.

FSUPD Spokesman Maj. Jim Russel wrote in an email that the investigation is ongoing and more details would be available at a later time.

What part of this do you not understand? It was in the link I posted suggesting attention to reading comprehension. I have resisted the urge to join Twitter for a number of years now and I don't think I'll sign up now. I'll wait for further details from the authorities. I trust their investigation will be a bit broader than Anthony Valdes.

FSUPD? The same FSUPD that made headlines last year?

Again, perception is reality.

I don't understand why FSU fans are letting Anthony Valdes get away with tossing a grenade in the room and shutting the door. One can only conclude that FSU and FSU fans actually like negative news coverage.

Was this actually a ploy by FSU football to gain sympathy and take the heat off Winston and the program? Hmmmm....... :stir:

Maybe it was Oregon fans or players that vandalized the vehicles? They could have felt disrespected after the FSU players wouldn't shake hands with the Oregon players or coaches after they got humiliated on the field.
The FSU players showed a lot class with that move after the game.

Seems there is a double standard. Jimbo ,Jameis are the scum of the earth, but they and several others ,also scum FSU players ,ignored The Rose Bowl officials and did shake hands. Thank God for teams like Oregon who other than doing the same thing to Arizona are full of class.Oh yes check out Bama also.
