Don't get me wrong the rest is the best I have had thus far, only problem is the riser is so close to the string that when you turn your nocks to get clearance from your rest dropping it hits the side of the bow and sometimes hits the pull rope on my rest!!

Still shoot fairly consistant but after this week or next this rest will be on the market for sale....what will you give me, $110.00 brand new had maybe 100-120 shots through it??

I'm gonna use it this weekend and next week for the obvious!!

What's your centershot measuring on your Reezen? If you have any cam lean your rest will have to move too close to the riser to compensate. Just something to check, but you've probably already checked it. I had to tweak on my slim limb Mathews to get them just right with each one I've had.

I've had them all! You should have got a ripcord! I personally would not consider the QAD as an option.

What is the difference....

Jus wondering will take all comments!

Re: G5 Expert II + Mathews Reezen = Not what I tho

Spit I have a ripcord and wouldn't trade for nothing going on 3 years and 2 strings with this bow and never a failure

I also like the looks of the QAD but never shot one so I don't know much about it.

Re: G5 Expert II + Mathews Reezen = Not what I tho

The ripcord doesn't have the issues that the expert and the QAD have. The qad is bad about "freezing" up and the expert is widely known to be very tempermental. I know many people who had the expert and they all said it was ok other than it doesn't contain the arrow very well and that it was a constant problem as far as timing issues. I am not an archery expert but I do know that the ripcord is extremely durable and has never given me a single problem over 2 years of shooting my bow! The ripcord contains the arrow VERY well! Good luck

I would recommend the Vapor Trail Limbdriver. Its pretty much foolproof and super easy to setup. I love mine. I dont like attaching stuff to my cables..Ive got binary cams and it can affect timing pretty easily. Ive used QAD and I prefer the limbdriver over it. I dont see myself changing rests anytime soon.

I have a Ripcord on my HCA and it works much better than the QAD Hunter I tried . The QAD locked up on me once while shooting and the fletching tore off the launcher arm , sending it into the back of the riser and back towards my right eye .

Ripcord or Trophy Taker....

But dang Spit. You got most of the post in the Archery Forum since you got that Reezen... LOL

Re: G5 Expert II + Mathews Reezen = Not what I tho

All I will shoot is the QAD ultra rest, love it never had a problem with it, and have lots of shots through it. I know alot of people shooting the QAD and never had any problems what so ever. What I like about QAD vs. Ripcord is that when you draw back and lets say you don't get that shot off and have to let down, the QAD doesn't fall it stays in the containment position, where the ripcord will fall and you have to reset it with your thumb to get back to containment.

Spit, I have the Ripcord on my Reezen and have no problems at all with clearance.

I'll check it out, does it lock upright like the QAD or does it raise with the Draw??

Re: G5 Expert II + Mathews Reezen = Not what I tho

Have you checked your cam lean and centershot?
