I got a couple hens fired up right where I last heard ole longbeard this afternoon. They came in cutting back at me from about 300 yards in the field. When I yelped at them at about 15 yards one gobbled twice. I got her to gobble about 5 more times. You would think that would have got a response or a curious Tom to come in but nope! My hens officially gobble better than the Toms! That's a first for me..

I had one gobble at me 3 or 4 times the other morning. First time I've ever heard one gobble. I thought someone was sneaking in on me with a gobble shaker call.

I'm still in disbelief that it didn't bring the Tom I just heard in or even a gobble... Last time I called in a hen that fired up the gobbler almost ran over me...

The number of vocalizations a turkey can make is staggering. In all my years, I've only heard a hen gobble once. Never heard it from my 3 penned hens. Heard the squealing hen for the first time last year.

I got my birds fired up this evening, and one hen started making a high pitched dog bark at me. Never heard that before. And man, can the hens ever hiss when they get really pissed off. If u ever hear that, you better run, because they are about to open a can of whoop a $$.

Seen it once in the woods, at tims ford and my neighbor has a hen that gobbles some lol. She probably don't like me cause I'm always messing with that hen yelping and cutting at her. She gets pretty tore up too!

Dude, no gobbler in his right mind would come to a gobbling hen. Think about it :D !

I have seen it twice, and was shocked both times when I finally saw what was doing it.

I have never heard a hen gobble where I could see her gobbler but they fan out alot.A long time ago I raised wild turkey's and I heard little chick's that were only a few weeks old gobble,it surprised me to say the least!!

This doesn't surprise me in today's society of LBGT.

Yep! [emoji23] My hens gobble and my gobblers are gay.. That's my luck this season...
