I got remarried 4 years ago. First game I took her to before we were married was Alabama which was ugly. Then when we were looking at dates to get married we wanted the fall. I was checking the hunting calendar and October 20th worked. Unfortunately it was the Alabama game and it never crossed my mind. It was just a small wedding with our family so we kept checking phones for updates.
The one where I watched the game was an outdoor wedding at cabin type deal with a big deck. Told the wife we needed to sit in back. She thought it was social anxiety or something. When I pulled up the Hulu app she wasn't pleased. I told her if he didn't want me to do that he wouldn't have gotten married 3rd weekend. Injuries are part of it. Sucks for sure and hate it for all of them but the game goes on. No excuses win or lose. Creates an opportunity for somebody else to step up big and take advantage of it.
