Good week for Crappie

[puppy]

8-25-20, 30 keepers with my Dad in approximately 2 hrs.

8-28-20, 15 keepers; fished by myself about an hour and fifteen minutes.

9-1-20, 30 keepers with my Dad again about 2.5 hours fishing time.

9-2-20, 15 keepers talked my wife into going to the lake so she could relax and I would drown a minnow just to keep bored down, hour and 20 minutes.

here is the bounty from the last 2 trips
All caught single pole, fishing deep brush 20-25' on Douglas. Hoping the water stays stable through the end of next week so I can finish out my freezer stocking and start preparing for deer season.

Very true, but there are 5 licensed people in my household so by my count I am 60 fish short of that number. Guess that could be an arguable interpretation of that law but since all 5 fish hold a license and like to eat crappie that should be the possession limit for my household. Guess I can always have a fish fry this weekend.

I'm jealous. I fish Douglas too. I'd love to find a treetop holding a school like that too.
