Who was you calling obnoxious and arrogant again? There is no more satisfying of a feeling than to crush the hearts of the Vol faithful for yet another year. Hopefully by the time the streak is over their fan base will be too broken and dejected to regain their former obnoxious and arrogant attitudes over what accounts to around a 10 year run of success in their program's history that yielded one national championship. Reality setting in sometimes has that effect on things and we can only hope. ROLL TIDE!!
Crying all the way to a SEC Title and a National ChampionshipAlabama’s all-time record vs. its SEC opponents
Alabama owns a winning record all-time against all 13 of its fellow SEC members.www.saturdaydownsouth.com
Bamers are still crying lol
They are a lot more fun when they are obnoxious and arrogant. There is no more satisfying of a feeling than to crush the hearts of the Vol faithful for yet another year. 3. Cant really argue that he wasn't awful since he protected the ball with no turnovers. However they really dumbed down the offense to help him. It was obvious they don't trust him. Very vanilla game plan. Heck we were running on 3rd and 7, 3rd and 9.3. JG wasn't awful, which is our benchmark with him sadly.
4. I don't understand why we didn't get some more young guys significant playing time in second half.
I read a article that said Pruitt does not want to give the young guys that are not producing in practice a chance on the field even when they are down. He says it send the wrong message that you can just slack off and not be at the top of your game and still get a spot on the field. My ratio of humbled vs unfounded arrogance usually fluctuates daily. Consumption may also play a role too...
Anyway. I actually didn't see a down in this game. Had a busy Saturday that included a lot of drive time so I caught the slim majority of it on the radio. Which frankly I enjoy that at least one game a year as I always liked listening to Bob. Makes it a little less painful to listen to a slaughter as opposed to watching it.
Based on what I heard & most of the postgame I've listened too here are my thoughts:
1. Not surprised at score.
2. Hate the waddle injury, hope he recovers to 100% that kid will get paid to play football one day.
3. JG wasn't awful, which is our benchmark with him sadly.
4. I don't understand why we didn't get some more young guys significant playing time in second half.
Agreed CB. And as much as I think we should be a run first offense that doesn't mean I think we ought to go off right guard on 3rd & 8.3. Cant really argue that he wasn't awful since he protected the ball with no turnovers. However they really dumbed down the offense to help him. It was obvious they don't trust him. Very vanilla game plan. Heck we were running on 3rd and 7, 3rd and 9.
4. I'm ready to bang my head against the wall
Yeah definitely can appreciate that point of view. At a certain point on the field results have to count somewhere at the level of practice field results I'd say but they don't pay me to figure that out-I read a article that said Pruitt does not want to give the young guys that are not producing in practice a chance on the field even when they are down. He says it send the wrong message that you can just slack off and not be at the top of your game and still get a spot on the field.
I can't argue with that wisdom. Im not sure its a winning wisdom but I can't argue with it.
Coach speak BS if you ask me. He admitted that Harrison Bailey never took the first rep until the Sunday night scrimmage AFTER the Georgia game. W.T.H.I read a article that said Pruitt does not want to give the young guys that are not producing in practice a chance on the field even when they are down.
