Reckon they can sell all the WMA's nobody to manage them, everybody can hunt their 100 ac and be happy not having to travel to hunt, reckon won't be no need to have license either, no need to pay merchants ti sell them yep states going to save a lot of cash

Has this become a competition for you? When discussing if baiting should be legal or not please explain why its important for you to know how much land I own
its not a competition. just answer the question!! i just wanna know if You are paying $1000's of dollars tax money every year to let the state who gets said dollars tell you what to do??

Yes...I'm paying $1000's in taxes for the farm where I live. Its in greenbelt for agriculture and our family farm also requires $1,000's in taxes...and its in greenbelt for forestry...there are all kinds of taxes we pay associated with the land and farm...I get it...but we dont pay taxes "to let the state yell us what to do" (whatever that means?) We pay taxes because its the law...And again, the conversation is about...should baiting for deer and swine be legal? Not who pays what in taxes or who owns how much land? I think baiting is a bad idea...you think its a good idea because you pay taxes...and believe it or not, I understand your argument and stance on property owners rights...but honestly what you or I pay in property taxes doesnt define whats best for wildlife.

Looks like it was already voted on and passed maybe looking at that link, not sure if it has to have all of them vote or a majority

Last week I emailed every one of the Senators listed and shared my concerns and only got one automated reply from Sen. Oliver.
And while its passed this step its now been recommened "with amendments" to the Senate Finance, Ways and Means Committe. Thought I saw where it was listed at 25%...but not sure what that means? As with most any government program, its confusing and unclear. I am curious what the amendments are?

im sorry i apologize. but from this post you still haven't answered the question. lets try to make this simple. How much land do You pay taxes on. not your family.

So is it a done deal?
I clicked the link and followed to the end and that is what is posted, not sure if there are any more steps as there are to many fingers looking to scratch. But to me it looks like a done deal. What I don't understand is why the politicians want involved in it? they won't get the $$ generated as far as I know but somebody somewhere stands to make a bunch of $$ somehow,

Not quite a done deal yet but close. I'd guess that someone that wants bait (or got a ticket) has a few well-connected buddies

Man I've tried to have a logical conversation with you. I even tried to discuss baiting and the concerns I have.
But you continue to go off topic and wanna talk taxes and acreage...All this back and forth between you and I has contributed absolutely nothing to the conversation about baiting. And its not just this topic...on plenty of other topics you just like to argue and go in circles.
So I'm done...I should have never taken the bait and wasted everyones time.

Comprehension definitely isnt his strong suit 🤤

Y'all know this guy has been kicked off here a couple times. " No turkeys left in Wayne County due to chicken manure" was his mantra last go around..."land & taxes" this time. He'll be back with another nonsense BS rant under another handle.
Reminds me of wrestling a pig in mud, the more you do it, the better he likes it.
Green stripe #2, or is it #3 for me.
