I like the tac 22 subsonic HP...and Eley's subsonic HP. There are others that shoot a little better, but these are pretty dang good. And the HP is better for squirrel noggins. I was getting a lot of ricochets with the regular tac 22.

No...not off their noggins. But if I miss...or even a pass through, if it(bullet) then hit a limb, I could hear them bouncing all around the woods.

I've squirrel hunted for most of my 57 years. Never have I noticed ricochets like I had with tac 22...and SK standard+ as well.
Don't know if they use harder lead or what, but it was every shot. Sounded like that plinko game on price is right...

I don't have that problem with the SS HPs.

They're still being made and for a good bit less than I paid for my sorta special set. Mine has 3 different profiling inserts as well as 2 sizing dies and was about $100 more than the regular setup.
