Should definitely be some type of warning sign there. When we started going to Tim's Ford and looking at ramps somebody told us about one that's fine in summer pool but based on their comments would be like the one pictured above in winter.
Agreed. Or close that ramp during winter pool. Doesn't look like a man could launch there period from the overhead pic
 
Since I dropped a wheel off in one on Northshore in Knoxville in November I have learned it's NOT TVA or TWRA's responsibility but actually the counties…… which explains a lot of why they are in such crappy shape.

There's a huge drop off like that on the left side of the ramp(as you look at the ramp from the drive) at Maple Creek Lake on Natchez Trace. That ramp is in the middle of a curved drive, steep, and can be difficult to get lined up to put in and get loaded back up while trying to stay to the right. There's a building in the way too.
