GREAT Answer....I hunt all kinds of terrain and still practice for out west. I shoot long distance because it makes a 40 yard shot seem like a gimme. If someone would dare tell you how far they kill deer every year with a bow it would be suicide on here.Radar said:Archery is seeing how far away you can hit the bullseye . If someone can shoot that far and well and can read the animal good enough to know exactly what they going to do before the shot I think it's up to them. It's not a question of ethics in my book. If they are thinking in the back of their head I might wound this animal and still shoot then you have an ethics issue. I let a monster walk last year b/c he was just too nervous to even think about shooting 45 yards at him. It all relates to the situation; imo.
