How many turkeys did you kill in TN this spring?

I only got in the woods 6 times for maybe 15 hours but managed to kill 2 in the last four days of the season. I normally aim for 1 and anything above that is a bonus.

9 for my house hold, my son 4, me 4, my wife 1. All long beards but 1 bearded hen. Also called 4 long beards for my uncle. Lots of Jake's and 2 year olds left for next year

Looks like everybody did good but sounds like your place is the longbeard capital. Next year save one for me and I'll save one for you.

We hunted six different farms totaling over 1400 acres, hunted nearly everyday, so we are definitely not the average turkey hunters. We put in over two months of scouting pretty much living with them. We burn all our vacation time and save money all year long to turkey hunt. We are truly blessed

Only killed 3 for myself. All public ground and they all died between 12 yards and 22 yards. This was my lowest number of personal kills since the limit increased from 2.
I knew when I started taking these DAV and kids turkey hunting that it might mean I won't limit out some yrs. I don't regret it a bit. The good Lord has blessed me during my 27 yrs of chasing these birds.
