I am not huge on trail cameras at all....but I put one up yesterday. I saw a big bachelor group the other night and I want a better look at 3 of them so hopefully I can get a few pictures of them. i know they are good ones but i want to see how good and if i can get a good judge on how big they are. i cant believe i put it up i shocked myself i haven't ran trail cameras for about 6 years. hopefully i can get a few pictures of some. ill know in close to a month.

I enjoy running trail cams almost as much as hunting. If the drive wasn't too far I would recommend checking it a little sooner than one month on the first pull. Very disappointing to wait for several weeks or a month and then find out something wasn't quite right with the set up or the camera.

yeah the drive isn't to far at all. about 25 minutes. but i don't want to be in there to much. i may give it more like two weeks im not sure. i put the camera up probably 7 foot pointing down. its an ir and i put it out on the tractor which the see and hear all the time so i think ill be in good shape.

Me too!

But after getting pics of two great 10s last year, and a 13 and another giant 10 the year before and then not laying eyes on any of them during the season was a huge downer for me.

So, I went ahead and put out the cams this year, but have come to the realization that I won't get my hopes up.
