Well it may be user errorā€¦.and gasman is the user

After he said it ain't working another member drove an hour to find out why and said it IS working šŸ˜‚

May not be working just right though since it wasn't running. But they did determine it used SOME of the gas out of the boat tank

We had TWO ice eaters working Monday. We are down to one workingā€¦..sometimes

I agree with his first statement made!!

I'd be interested in know why it doesn't work too? I've used that setup for years with no issues. I now use a larger generator with larger tank that doesn't require the remote tank. I did that to run multiple ice eaters. Using a Westinghouse 4500 that'll run about 12.5-13 hrs. on a full tank.
With all that being saidā€¦ā€¦ I agree with the first statement too!

@gasman may be able to give you a better explanation

It's my understanding that the boat tank and adapter was installed yesterday morning and when the member left the eater was working. Emwhen Chris got there yesterday evening he said the eater wasn't going and the generator tank was bone dry but the boat tank had fuel.

Another member went after that and said he added 1.5-2 gallons to the boat tank which means it used some of the fuel but the generator had still quit

Mine is second and third info so maybe the horses mouth will stop by and agree or correct me

That is correct. I'm thinking the vent on the boat tank may have been closed as I forgot to check it when I was there at 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Hopefully it will be running when I go by there this morning.

Mine works great.
