Thanks yall for the advice and the offers... I got the gun from Muddyboots, gonna get it sighted in soon as possible
No difference based on your feel, or did you actually measure it before/after with a trigger pull gauge?catman529":3j62nl62 said:I have the Mcarbo spring for the 870 in my Pardner. It made no difference in the Pardner.
I would test with gauge first to have a baseline, then see if it is needed, especially if it didn't "feel" any different to you in your previous setup.catman529":3j62nl62 said:I'll probably take it out and put it in the 870.
no different feel, if I can't feel a difference then does it matter? The Pardner is supposed to be an 870 clone, but not all of it is identical, so it might not be compatible with the mcarbo spring. That gun had a very heavy trigger pull with a lot of travelAndy S.":28s7xpq4 said:No difference based on your feel, or did you actually measure it before/after with a trigger pull gauge?catman529":28s7xpq4 said:I have the Mcarbo spring for the 870 in my Pardner. Theoretically, yes, mentally, maybe not so much.catman529":1g41gbq7 said:no different feel, if I can't feel a difference then does it matter?
My 870 super mag is not bad at all at least to me. Never felt the need to switch the spring out. Congrats on the new toy. this super mag feels good to me. The trigger could be lightened some, but it's still a lot better than the Pardner.Gravey":hw12u97o said:My 870 super mag is not bad at all at least to me.
