ND started celebrating a little early.
The college football playoffs have usually had one or two blowouts every year. This game was a blowout but the score makes it look a bit competitive. Probably more blowouts to come.
At least a team that beat more than one opponent in the top 25

They had their 2nd team defense in.

They beat the same amount of ranked teams this year as the Vols so far?
Notre Dame has now beaten two top-25 teams.

I'm sure. And UT has beaten one top-25 team.
Those are old rankings. Only Army and Indiana are ranked in the top-25 now.

I didn't watch the game After ND went up 14-0. From all accounts, it looks like it was really never in doubt.
I did see this though.
Saban came off of the top rail on Cignetti prior to the game. Ouch!

Congrats on reading schedules. They have now had two top 25 wins against opponents whose rankings were super questionable… Navy, Louisville, and Aggies were proven to be over ranked. Rudy must be ecstatic with wins like that. Their schedule is VERY light and you know that. They also lost to a literal 2nd tier team.TX A&M

I didn't think Saban would do very well on tv but he has surprised me.
I can't believe he hasn't punched McAfee yet. I keep suffering through Gameday in hopes that it happens. I'd love to see Pat leave. Just too loud for me. Nicky has done a great job so far. Like you, I thought he'd struggle and be dry
I'm ok with Saban now that he's not coaching at bama.
Haven't seen a ton of game day stuff but what I have has been good. I too wish he'd punch Pat in the mouth. I can tolerate him at times but normally he gets on my last nerve.
