Any of y'all have one of these?

The KelTec PR57 is an interesting, very lightweight pistol and I plan to have one. They're selling out before they hit the shelves right now. 20 rounds of 5.7x28 is impressive. The empty weight of the pistol is under 14oz. My only concern is that I have found exactly zero information on how to clear a jam should one occur. Not a single video or web post addresses that. BUT, as soon as I find one in stock for less than $400 I'm on the hook for it.

Quite interesting, nice lightweight pistol that holds 21 rounds and would be good for states that violate people's rights (detachable mag bans). The rotary barrel is a unique feature to reduce recoil and weight but probably not very suppressor compatible.
Looks to be a fun gun though.

Keltec can be hit or miss, i know a guy who carries a Keltec 9mm and loves it, another buddy had a Keltec 22 mag that was nothing but trouble.
My friend and I bought Keltec P17 .22s from Rural King at the same time, his wouldn't fire more then 4 rounds before malfunctioning no matter what ammo he used (suppressed or un-suppressed).
I have shot more than 2700 rds of all kinds of ammo through my suppressed P17 and never had a malfunction, if it ever does malfunction I will probably have to clean it for the first time.

The PR57 looks well designed and should be reliable, only the stripper clips awkward loading method gives me pause.

That top loading design reminds me of an early pistol called a Grendel. I saw one once and was not impressed by loading from the top. Never occurred to me to use stripper clips. That would have made quite a difference in my opinion.

The one thing that I've not been able to find any info on is how would a person clear a jam, no matter what the issue is.
Hmm, true, most the time you just rack the slide to clear it but sometimes you may need to unseat the magazine if next round is trying to feed and gets jammed up too, can't drop the mag on this pistol.

The same guy that invented that pistol is the big guy at KelTec.

Would unloading it require racking the slide 20x?

Interesting for sure, I kinda like it already.

I have no idea. The weight and round capacity are the 2 things that have my attention. It's VERY lightweight and holds 20 rounds.

Another really lightweight compact carry is the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 NTS. 380 caliber, weighs 11.4oz empty, has 10 round and 12 round mags that come with it and MSRP is $449.
