It’s a “safety school”

Would make sense if he was. Probably a GM transplant Buckeye. Used to run into those a lot when I lived in Franklin—they just never left with GM😏. The same still stands even if he is an Ohio St fan. The 52-24 thumping the Buckeyes received in a National Championship game at the hands of Alabama was a complete embarrassment. Butt still hurt IMO.
What was your degree from the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa? I don't have a degree from Ohio State.

Nope, I never worked for GM. My Dad did, but not in TN. Haven't lived in Ohio since I was 28.

Not butt hurt over the 2021 national championship game. Can't be butt hurt over a beat down, just as you shouldn't be butt hurt over the beat down the "Tide" got from Georgia this year. At least I've got the excuse of 20 players out with COVID and only one practice leading up to my team's beat down. What's your excuse?

Oh, and I'll add. Don't bother going deer hunting in Ohio, but I don't recall ever seeing you post in any of the hunting forums so why are you here?

I went to ITT Tech to learn how to trigger opposing snowflake fan bases in the TNDeer sports forum. Seems to have been a successful expenditure thus far.
The Georgia win over Alabama doesn't bother me—look back at my post history and you'll see that mid-season I said Georgia looked to be the most complete team in college football. Can't win it every year but to be competitive year in and year out, much like Ohio St, is enjoyable. I've never given an excuse. Georgia took advantage of personnel losses, brought pressure all night, and did what they had to do to win the game. Tip the cap and move on to next year.
You probably haven't seen me in any other forums because you haven't been here very long. Broaden your scope and you likely will.
After Trey13 posted his vegan and soy based diet to the fitness forum several years ago I've been rigorously following his meal plan and have slacked off on hunting mainly because of the plan and all the time spent watching his YouTube based Richard Simmons style workouts. You should really check it out!

Finds it hilarious that the minions translates activities that ones does that are therapeutic into a person needing Therapy. But hey you have fun on the playground with the rest of the kiddos. :)

Saban is a 100% douchebag - he proved that this week. Hope his athletes realize it.
Unfortunately I'd say most of his athletes and recruits have the same stance as old Nicky. I'd also say his comments are guided by his win at any cost attitude. Any conservative should take note. It's getting to be a sad world we live in.

I'm not even talking about politically. I'm talking about the fact he is essentially the excrement of the human race.

Sent a personal letter to a "friend" but sent copies to other people and the press. Douchebag move.
I Googled the letter. Seems to me he signed a letter to Senator Manchin in support of the Freedom to Vote Act along with other notable former and current WV sports figures. While I'm sure there are aspects of that pending bill that I disagree with, I think it's over the top to call that a douchebag move. He might be a football coach, but still an American with a right protected by the First Amendment to express a political opinion. You and I might disagree with it, but he, like you and me, has every right to express it.

Is there something else here.

Agreed. Needs to stay in his lane.
I'm sure many more than a few Bama fans said the same thing when Paul Bear Bryant integrated the football team in 1970. They sure as hell did when he agreed to play an integrated Penn State team in 1959.

I think BMan was referring to the fact that the letter amongst "friends" could've easily stayed between friends and the same effect would've been had if that was the genuine reasoning behind the letter. The fact that copies of the letter were leaked to the fake news media shows that the reasoning was likely just to create more public outcry/scrutiny/division.

It's a douchebag move. Can't change it now.
