The former Tennessee tailback announced Saturday that he is transferring to Baylor. Hurd will sit out the 2017 season, and will have one year of eligibility in Waco in 2018.

This is what they said on the NFL site.

Hurd has indicated that he wants to switch positions, so look out for him to play wide receiver or even tight end at Baylor. He had 67 receptions in 33 games with the Volunteers, however his catches decreased each year in Knoxville after racking up 35 as a freshman.

All he had to do was finish the season out. He would have been a fairly high draft choice.

Now, I'm sure that he realized pretty quickly that NFL teams don't care much for quitters.

He cost himself a lot of $$$.
