You know that you, like others here, see photos of "Big" bucks and the wonderful moments of hunting. I am placing this thread, for you and others, as a reminder that everyone should be graced with love and ability. Sometimes, life happens, you just aren't allowed the opportunity to see that "big" buck. I pray that you don't look for your cameras in the woods to give you understanding. Search for your own value and it will be given unto you. I grew up when you were allowed 7 bucks a year. I hope that you find time to remember that these beautiful things are not limited by your own life.

Thanks! Back in the day the limits were:
Archery: 4 either sex
Muzzleloader: 3 bucks
Rifle : 4 bucks
Potentially 11 bucks per season

Good post. We all experience ebbs and flows in hunting. Some years are feast while others are famine. Just the way it goes.

Yes sir, and this year it is famine for me! I have seen a ton of bucks but only one mature buck on camera and he is a 6 point. I have passed him twice, a decision I probably won't make again if I see him again.
