Let a young man in our recovery program sit in my #1 stand this morning. Hope he's successful. I decided to sit on the ground on a known travel corridor. Thankful to be back in the woods!!

I sat this afternoon out. Went and got some deer stands from another member and kicked back watching football now. Good luck!

Came behind the house this morning before church. Deer were really active yesterday afternoon back here.

The red brick house you can see in the background is in TN. It's my grandparents old place. Pretty awesome to sit back and be able to look at it.

Haven't seen the 2023 Live from the stand thread this year so maybe we can get this pinned to the top.

Crazy that I ran the heat in my truck most of the week but this morning it's muggy as all get out.

Either way deer season is in and life is good.

First sit of the season for me too. Couldn't pass up an afternoon after the rain moved out. Been working on my no blind ground game the past couple years. Fingers crossed for some freezer meat!
