Live from the stand 2023

If anyone is in the Carter's Valley area, I'll buy you a tenderloin biscuit if you'd stop and run a serpentine pattern down this powerline for me.
I was wondering if you were in Carters or Webster valley. Bunch of deer out in that field yesterday evening.

Cameras showing night movement only. Don't care back for 1 more hunt.

Have my son back out again this afternoon. He was up in the stand already and was telling me he sees a buck and a doe. I get in the stand and it is two little bucks. A 4 point and a cowhorn spike. The way the 4 point was standing he never had a good angle, and he walked away without offering a shot.

Doe came out of the corner of brush pile in front us and a nice 8 took off from somewhere deeper in the brush pile cutting her off. Way too fast even for me to get a shot. Pretty sure I know which buck it was, hopefully she brings him back around and gives my son a shot.

Snapped this walking up to the stand this afternoon, a good bit steeper than it looks in the pic.

Wind had died down quite a bit here. Should get a few more sits in before it wraps up here. Three does working their way around the far edge right now. Still hoping to pop another yote.
