Will someone suggest a good tomato seed to start indoors? I would like a good, meaty one for like sandwiches. Planning on growing in containers

I don't grow in containers, but these folks have numerous varieties of dwarf tomato plants(seeds) that should be suitable for containers.

Cherokee purple.
Good yield, and year after year it's the variety most of my friends want me to bring them.
For a more acidic, lighter color, bright orange/yellow flesh, Mr stripey is another big body slicing favorite

Trying brandywine this year along with Roma and San Marzano and a cherry mater same I had last year. Early girls last year did ok, but Im doing soil test this year before plant and got a better growing tent/rack/lights for starting seeds. Last year maters/peppers were leggy they produced but not like they should have and I got to much plant growth to fruit. Reason for better seed growing and soil testing.

I am convinced tomatoes need zero shade; if you start them indoors you gotta put them in the ground when the second leaves appear; I use powder fertilizer you mix in water and there is zero difference in results between the very expensive and store brand; my container experience is just all bad and I have seen some pics on this site that knock your socks off the plants look super-I do not know why mine look so miserable; Plenty of water; plenty of fertilizer based on soil health; I like a lot of the supersize but Early Girl is another favorite.

Early girl has been a long time favorite of ours. It's higher acid and produces well but it's determinate with smaller fruit and an old variety that can be hit by disease early and hard. Grow them in new ground where tomatoes have not been, lots of sun and never spray water on them. They do not like to be wet!
I'm a Cherokee purple fan, but may try giving the mortgage lifters a try.
I love the mortgage lifters size and indeterminate feature. I already have the seeds to start the Cherokee purple this year, I have never grown it.

CP's have always been my go to. Been growing them from seeds for about 5 years now. Ordered some mortgage lifter seeds yesterday and they are out for delivery
