What is the brace height on that bow?

6"

ooh that's skimping on the brace height, thats where they got the extra speed. I'd still like to pull their dual cam to see how the draw cycle compares to the bowtech binary cams. Bowtech's binary cams can be tough to pull at 70#.

Don't let the dual cams scare you off. It is SMOOTH!

The dual cams don't scare me. I have two of the binary cam style bows. I just wonder how mathews first go round is with the dual cam set up after being a single cam company for so long.

Actually, this isn't their first go-round with dual cams. When Matt McPherson owned the McPherson line the first time, they had dual cam bows out then.

it is interesting to see two different forums that have such different opinions about this bow.

I have to wonder if some people only convince themselves to like it because of the name on it or vice versa. Just a thought. I will have to shoot this one to have a true opinion.

Different folks have different likes/dislikes. I have a friend who loves Hoyt. I don't care for them. Glad we have options.

I will say the bow is fast but it is also very top heavy which I do not like. I was with a friend that liked it being top heavy. Every one has their own likes and dislikes that is why there is more than 1 bow and 1 bow company out there. Everybody should try it just to decide for yourself. Some that have never liked Mathews may love this bow and some that like Mathews may not like it.

Just for kicks, It looks like a X-Force.

Mathews, Catch us if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you are right they are not nearly the same. With your example I guess the $1=Mathews Looks like $100=X-Force :D . The X-Force is far better balanced bow with a better feeling grip to me. But the Mathews is a good replica :D and before I get acused of being a Mathews basher, the day I looked at the Monster I bought my wife a Mathews. I just did not like the Monster.

Don't even bother responding to this guy. He doesn't have much to say unless he is defending mathews. He thrives on these pointless ford/chevy arguments.

That was not the point of this thread at all.

One thing that still stands guys, Mathews supports archery more than ANYOTHER bow company!!!!! Mathews bows are top shelf all other bows are second shelf. Mathews, Catch us if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess they are top shelf so the other bows will be down where people can reach them since they sell better. :D

W.Seay I would like for you to give me a little more info on the bow that I might have missed. You sound like an expert on Mathews. Can you tell me who made the limbs on the Monster? They do not look like anything else Mathews has made. Why did Mathews make a duel cam bow since they have always said solo is better? Mathews has been playing catch up for several years now. They are a good company but so are a lot of others and they all have good points and bad points. Did you know the roller cable guard came from HCA but since they have been in the shadows for years Mathews got credit from the public. Do a patent search but I guess you knew that.

If you go through life with blinders on you miss a lot of scenery. Tunnel vision only gives 1 path to take. Have a good day. :)

Sounds like someone is alittle bitter. Get stomped by someone using a Mathews at an archery tournament or something? :)
