I wasn't taking anything away from Florida they played a very good game, but that was a poor effort by an Iowa team that's a lot better than that!

Started going downhill after Beathard hurt his leg which effected his passing. Poor tackling by a defense, not taking anything away from the Florida runners, but they just don't miss that many tackles. Missed short field goal after a good drive didn't help the momentum much. Looked similar to the last 4 bowl games the Hawks have played, just made mistakes they didn't make during the regular season and not taking anything away from their opponents, they just didn't bring their A game. Yes they got their buts kicked and as I said earlier Florida came to play and Iowa didn't. They're a better team that was on the filed yesterday is all I'm saying.

Him getting hurt doesn't mean a "poor effort" by them. Neither team was world beaters on offense. UF played well on defense and the offense made a few plays when it counted.

Him getting hurt was just part of Iowa's luck as it goes for bowl games and it did effect his ability. I'm not taking anything away from Florida and wouldn't say Iowa could beat them if they had their A game.
 
You realize UF was playing without 5 defensive starters right? 10 defensive players total.
