well everyone cold limit is different. Fleece is Fleece for the most part so if its 30mph 40degree wind its going to pass right though it. Blocking wind is not standard fleece strength but maybe this one has more of a backer on it to help that, cant tell and they dont mention it.

again just my opinion but $250 for a heavy fleece jacket just seems high to me with no wind layer etc on it.

Agree! I'm hot natured but the older I've gotten I get cold quicker when not moving.
 
Should've probably provided more information in the first post. I currently have the Sitka stratus bibs and jacket and wondering if there's something else a little warmer but still not too bulky. I like them and they work good for me 95% of the time especially when laying and temps are 30 and above. I've had the first lite sanctuary set and the badlands pyre set. Both are warm just felt like the Michelin man in those so figured I'd see what other options are out there. May stick with the stratus stuff.

if you want warmth without bulk Id just get a puffy like the Uncompahgre or equivalent and wear it under the stika stuff. That type of jacket is super light and can pack into itself.

I dont focus as much on my lower body vs my upper body when it comes to cold. My legs dont lose as much heat as my core
