Mouthcall?

ok yall...help... i know its hard to put in writing, but lastnite i tried a mouth call for the first time and could not get it right!! sounded like a wounded goose! haha HELP!!

ill try to look up instructional's online... it just seems like no matter how long i "practiced" it sounded like both reeds were yelping at the same time...??

yeah i wouldnt even know how to describe it in words....

when i first learning how to use them a friend of mine gave me one and bet me $20 i could not make a sound from it and he gave me 2 days to practice.....well i lost $20 lol

10 years later its like riding a bike..

The easiest way to describe. Put the call in the roof of your mouth. Using your tongue put pressure on the reed and blow. The amount of pressure depends on the call. You want to produce one high clear note. Keep practicing that until you can produce and hold that note.
When you have mastered that , while you are making the high note, reduce the pressure on the reed and you will hear it break. Keep practicing that,
When you have mastered that speed up the tempo and it becomes a yelp.
