Muzzy broadheads

Well they are all I have shot in a long long time, tuff and they get the job done. Now if you are a paper shooter, then maybe there are better broadheads out there, but if you are a meat eater, as I am, well I haven't found a better broadhead, Oh ya longevidy, they have been around along time, like my ragged behind.

I have always used Muzzys and they have done well. I tried the 4 blades last year and they did not fly well. Went back to the 3 blades.

Shot the 100 grain 3 blades for years. The new ones with the weight written on the side don't seem to be as tuff as the old green ones.Been using Hell Razors past couple of years. Can't compare to a solid steel one piece broadhead theses things are tuff and easy to resharpen.

I don't care for them..I used them for the past 2 years, and killed 2 deer with them and neither had a good blood trail,I also shot 2 deer that I didn't find..1 shot was a marginal hit,and the other,Im most certain it was a good shot,I saw the arrow hit right behind the shoulder..But i can say for sure, because I never found the deer..The 1 deer didn't bleed at all,and the 2nd deer,I just found small drops of blood..They also shot very good for me..This was the 3 blade 100gr Muzzy heads..I switched this year,to NAP spitfires for their 1 1/2in cut..

Not a fan. Lost a deer with them. Small deer as well. Shot looked real good. Not a drop! Not one drop of blood.

Do you guys think the broadheads were defective and that's what caused the problems here?
I do know they didn't leave good blood trails on the 4 deer I shot with them..2 deer I recovered, with poor blood trails and 2 I did not recover so i can't say for sure 100% what happends..But what I can say is that they didn't bleed hardly any on the 2 that I didn't recover..Could have been archer error, but of the 2 I did recover, they didn't bleed much and I put it right where I needed to go..

I have only used 4 different brands of broadheads in the 18 yrs that I have archery hunted. Razorbacks,Muzzy's,Thunderhead 125's and Rage 2 blade in that order thru the years. If I ever change again and I probably will. I will probably switch to the Montecs myself.

If you want a good broadhead get a Rage 2 blade...Although im not knockin muzzy because they are dam good for the price, i've killed quite a few deer with em.

3 blade 100's. I switched after using both Grim Reapers and spitfires. Killed deer with all 3 but started worring about the spitfires and Grim Reapers sticking.

Every hunter uses what they believe to be the best for their bow set up. After 22 years of strictly bowhunting I've learned the obvious about broadheads.
1. SHARP!! So sharp they cut you by just looking at them.
2. SHOT PLACEMENT. All broad heads can and will kill deer.
Don't wanna burst any bubble here, but there wll always be a case of the hunter being absolutely sure the shot made was a good one, believe me, I've done it myself...the truth is, if a deer is lost, it's because of a less than ideal shot made and not the broadhead.
The 100 grain 3 blade Muzzy has been my choice for a number of years.
