Sometimes I just can't help myself. 2 more Remington 541 rifles inbound......2 541 T Sporters and I'm waffling on another 541 S model. Somebody PLEASE make it stop!!!

Wow, I only have the one 541S and yes they are one of the finest and best looking 22 rifles ever made in my opinion, a true classic. Will be waiting on pictures.

At the first of the year I didn't have any. I had always wanted one so I went on a search. The first one that I found was in Wyoming. Original owner bought it in 1974 and never even put the bolt in it. Still had the box even. After that it was on like white on riceWow, I only have the one 541S and yes they are one of the finest and best looking 22 rifles ever made in my opinion, a true classic. Will be waiting on pictures.
Now it looks like I'll have 6 by Thanksgiving. So many 541s........so little time....

Dang Wiley, your addiction has done caused me to go dig my 541S out of the safe and take a couple pics.
Mine was made in 1973 and I bought it in 1974. My MIL at that time worked at an Ace Hardware store and ordered this rifle for me at wholesale cost. I am pretty sure I paid around $98 at that time. It has killed quite a few squirrels but I have really babied it in the woods.

That's a Weaver 2.5 x 7 Classic scope, wish they still made them.

She's a beauty!!! And I'm sure it's stoopid accurate as well. Nobody makes a replacement trigger for these rifles but a couple of gunsmiths in the country are renowned for their trigger work on them. Back in the Spring I sent all of mine to Brian Voelker in Iowa and had them worked. He's the most widely known gunsmith that works on the 54X series of Remingtons.

My brother is hooked on 22 mag lever guns. Don't know how many Henry 22 mags he has along with several others. Most still in their box.

Yes, I've heard a lot about Voelker, he is supposed to be the best. My trigger is stock but I did adjust it to a lighter pull, can't remember now.
You are right it is very accurate, when I first shooting 22 matches in our club I was using my 541S. I placed 3rd. in my first match with it out of around a dozen shooters using Wolf match target, I still have a little over a brick of it left.
