New Black flash camera

I had terrible results from an older model Moultrie, but I know many people who love their Moultries.

That said, I am extremely pleased to see some many companies entering the black-flash market. Competition in the market can only be a good thing.

I will NEVER own anything Moultrie ever again. I have had atleast 6 of their products and none of them lasted over 5-6 uses. MOST were a one time use before they quit working. Maybe its just me, but its enough to turn me off of them.

Having said that, this is a great thing! -----

This is the first year that I did not have a camera fail and I ran 10 Moultrie's from Aug. thru Nov. And about half of those were on their second year.

my moultie did miss up . so i sent it back and the sent me a brand new cam .no charge . i liked there customer service

I know moultrie has produced some crappie cams in the past and currently also, but this m80 i tried out is pretty awesome. im still on batteries from late Aug. (Great Trigger, Water Proof, Small footprint), i was hoping they could make a blackflash version!

But i also like my Uways only 1 outta 4 have had to go back. they have treated me well also. Price is King too, whoever can bring it down and make it affordable will win the game.
My Prediction is if this New M80 BlackFlash will run in any way like the Normal M80 this is going to be the one to own. Plus you know the price will come down some before next Summer.
This will up the Ante so to speak. But Price will have to come down. right now you can get the uway nt50b for 239 with the security box and a 2g card.(minus remote) Moultrie will need to offer this thing around the 150-160 range to really break into the Black Flash market

I have 2 M80's that I bought this year and they have run with no problems so far.... and the battery life is great as well...

I sure hope these new black flash cameras that are coming soon to hit the market are truly black flash. I got a Primos blackout for Christmas (after I told the family I wasnt going to get any more cheap cams). They said that Bass Pro was out of Reconyx's, because thats what they went there to get :( .....Long story short, I can see all of the LED's when it lights up in the dark. What I read on here was that some were visible to some people within a few feet, but couldnt be seen far away. Well, I could see all of them no matter where or how far I got from the cam. With my other 2 Reconyx's there is NO light whatsoever. But this cheaper "black flash" is no more than a red glow camera with the word "black" on it

Oh well, we will see how it works this coming summer. The deer may not pay as much attention to it as they do to my red glow cams, but I'm not going to be overly optimistic

My first Moultrie didn't transition to night. Swapped it and am VERY happy.
Same batteries since Sept, beautiful day and night shots.
Will have to break down and get one of their black flash units.
