Do a lot of reading and watching videos. Look up Bobby Worthington and Shane Parker to learn how to read funnels and read topo maps. Listen to podcasts, i personally like the southern outdoorsmen podcast, but not all episodes are applicable, find the guests the hunt land relative what you hunt. Listening to people that hunt the Midwest isn't going to help you much here especially if you hunt the mountains. Learn how to find and read sign of both people and deer. Find the most deer sign with the least amount of people sign. Get some kind of mapping app to that you can track trails and sign and connect the puzzle pieces together.
