New personal best from Chick

I can down to Chickamauga by myself for a few days. I wanted to work on ledge fishing since I know very little about it.

Took me nearly all day, but I broke my personal best! 6lb 7oz

Hard to tell from the picture, but she was FAT for this time of year.

Congrats on PB. Ledge bite should have been on today with them generating all day. I fished Nickajack this afternoon from 5 to dark and caught them pretty good.

Nice catch! I was out there all weekend looking for fish for a TX I have this coming weekend. Its been a couple years since the ledge bite was this good. I am blown away by how healthy and mean the fish are.

Nice bass!! Nothing like ledge fishing when you get a school fired up. You can catch them every other cast when they get on a feeding frenzy.

TVA opened the flood gates yesterday afternoon and we are now pushing 50k+ CFS! Once it gets over 40k, the ledge bite can get tough as I dont think the fish like running on a treadmill. Hopefully they will slow it down by Saturday.
