The previous Tennessee state record yellow perch was caught in Parksville Lake, near Cleveland. That lake produces huge yellow perch. But Trey McCoy has set a new target to shoot for, breaking the previous record by a mere one ounce. See what it weighed and where he caught it here: http://bit.ly/2jlzW1G

I wouldn't know a state record fish if it swam up and hit me in the rear. But, if I caught a perch that looked like that, I'd know I caught something special.

Congrats to the angler. That's awesome.

That is awesome. Congrats to him.
I sure wish there were some of them around here.

I did catch one last year on KY lake.
It was about 4" long. :D
