I disagree for a few reasons. VAndy has more bowl game appearances than ut in recent years. VAndy has beaten florida (in the swamp) MUCH more recently than ut has. Vandy has beaten georgia more recently than ut has. Vandy has beaten both schools in the same season much more recently than ut has. Any way, I guess I'll stay away from the football talk where only fans of teams with great records like 7-6 are allowed.maybe tomorrow":2sgd4znt said:

Ok. Vandy football is awful. the coach sux. Their best player quit to be a doctor, they lost to temple by thirty, and they are still my favorite team. That pretty much covers it except you left out why you think the vols struggled so bad with the worst team in college football. Surely they weren't unprepared with a coach as great as Butch, especially since that was a game they had to win to get to 6-6 and match what dooley did in his first season.
Do I need to tell you he went 11-2. Muschamp was unproven. McElwain comes in with good expirence. Tell me where I said McElwain better than Butch??? I said he is better than Muschamp. Anyone disagrees is a troll. We will see shortly...
Muschamp was great on defense and tried to control the offense he had no clue about. McElwain is a offensive guru and has been successful at Bama and Co St. So yeah he is a better coach. He lets his dcord have that control. Sure he is short on oline but that will change. Few months in and he landed the #1 OL in the nation.

Our season doesn't rest on beating the Vols it has higher standards than just making a bowl game. Where as Vol fans celebrated that Bowl game (finally made one) like it was 1998 all over again. And like TN fans the game they want more than any is to beat UF! That makes us Florida fans feel even better about beating them AGAIN! nice try though....
