I saw one about LSU wanting to hire him, but I just don't see Saban coming back. I'll not believe any of those reports until i see him on the field. It's just turning into such a different game and from the interviews I have seen him do its going away from the style he likes.
He went out on top, can't see him coming back for any amount of money to tarnish his legacy.

He won't be coming out to coach ever again. His fire went out about 2 years before he retired. When I noticed that he stopped raising Hell on the sidelines I knew it was over. The memories of thrown headsets, getting in the face of refs, chewing a players ass, etc are from a time when he had the fire. It's the same for those of us losing the fire to continue doing the things we love. For me it's giving up deer hunting.
Yep, it was sad to see that fire go away. That was my only reason for keeping up with Bama and watching them, was watching Saban and his style of coaching and the discipline and relentlessness his teams had.

The team discipline left when he did and it's been obvious most Saturday's. He was a hardass, but a winning hardass.
Enjoy Saban on Gameday and Vrbo commericals. That's as close to seeing him coach as you're gonna get. That man is done. The NIL thing really chapped his butt.

The man is making what? 75 Million on ESPN alone? Plus all his endorsements? His retirement package from ALABAMA ? All of his investments in his car businesses? I think the man is loving and embracing NIL. Seems to be working great for him. LOL
As much as I despised him as a coach, he is good on Gameday, and those Vrbo commercials are hilarious!
Commercials are great.
I actually think he is probably a good man despite him having been someone I hated for years.
I thought that was just when his Dr had finally prescribed Valium for him.

I can see he might come back, only because he likes the challenge of making great teams. I don't think he will, but that would be his motivation if he did.

He was on a podcast a couple of weeks ago and actually stated that he almost took the job. So, there was some fire behind all of that smoke.
Saban won't take the MI job. Like the level-headed Bama fan posts above, he did change 2-3 yrs ago, and it did affect his coaching. And I also agree with Wiley that I am the same way about deer hunting.
