North Cherokee bird down

Me and this bird got history. This year and last he just ignored any attempt I made to call him. Same thing happened this morning so about 12 I took a nap. About 5 I heard him gobble and clucked at him a few times and this time he hammered. Gobbled the whole way in.

Just a factory full choke and winchester #4 supreme turkey loads. Knocked home stone cold dead at 35 yards.
Not my biggest but I wanted him bad.

Also this is the first bird I called with a pot style call. Only ever used mouth calls in the past.

Yeah its tough, but its also home. Biggest thing is forget everything them hunting shows teach ya..lol. Wouldn't trade it for nothing.
